“Don’t frown too much-you’ll get wrinkles. You need to protect your face with SPF, EVERYDAY!…” (and the list goes on). Well, how many times have you heard this and actually listened?
I learned at a very young age (I think around 12 years old) from my mother to always wear moisturizer. This would keep my face looking fresh and young, which I didn’t understand at that age. Mostly because when you’re 12 all you can think about is rushing to turn 18. It wasn’t until I was around 20 that I realized the necessity of caring for your skin and how there’s so much more that goes into it than moisturizer.
Over the years I’ve ventured to mix and match so I can find products that I love and that work with on my complexion and tone. I do have a few favorites that I rotate through, but I think it’s important to try new products as well.
Makeup Remover Wipes (ALMAY)
My newest addition, which I was a little hesitant about at first is the Clarisonic! I wanted to see what all of the hype was about. I did my research and read hundreds of reviews and watched numerous Youtube videos. I was all about it, but I didn’t want to be disappointed if I decided to make the investment. I finally decided to purchase the Mia and boy-am I crazy about it! It’s worth every single penny!
It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and glowing, which allows my makeup to glide right on. It’s definitely a must have! The Mia came with the charger and a trial size of their refreshing gel cleanser, which I am in love with! It’s smells wonderful and they really work well together. I’ve tried it with my Purity Made Simple by Philosophy, but it’s not the same.
Eye Serum (Boscia)/Eye Remover (Neutrogena)/Lip Scrub (Bliss)
Moisturizer Oil (Jose Maran)/Facial Toner (Neutrogena)
My currents products are a mixture between some of my favorites along with some new ones. Besides the Clarisonic I am trying out the Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner since I usually use Clinique Clarifying Lotion.
It’s so important to take care of your skin now because it will determine what it will look like when you’re old and gray.
