The plus side? Those pieces allow you to create various look within your own wardrobe when you start to mix and match-like this white blazer.
Want to know the key to any “must have” outfit? It all lies within the balance of the clothes and accessories. And to be honest? That balance is all based on your personality, which means that there isn’t really a key. Just keep trying until you find something that compliments your personality and style. Yesterday, we discussed my love for rompers and today my obsession with one-pieces continues. The jumper or jumpsuit (I know, it can get a bit confusing) is designed off the same concept except it has “pants” as opposed to the romper which has “shorts”. Now that we got that out of the way let’s talk about this bad boy! *insert heart eye emoji*
The jumper by itself is great. It’s a nice light-weight satin material which is perfect for summer. And the color?! I’m having a huge moment with khaki green right now so this was right up my alley. I love pairing it with neutral pieces for a more clean and minimalistic look. So how do you take it from simple to simple & sophisticated?
Start by adding a blazer! Blazers are my go-to item that I reach for when I want to add a little sophistication to my look. The days of blazers being looked as stuffy work attire are long gone. So embrace it and find ones that speak to you! I love this white blazer from Zara because it’s structured so it creates a nice silhouette..and also because I love anything white. It gives that instant clean, crisp, summer feel without even trying!
Now if you really want to spice things up then your shoes is where its at. These days, shoes are the ultimate accessory because there is such a wide variety from styles, colors, designs-the list goes on. They are literally walking pieces of art. Ya feel me? Even though I was going for a neutral look it didn’t mean I couldn’t add a statement shoe. These caged heels were the perfect touch for me because the gold accents made a subtle statement and complimented my jewelry.
And can we talk about these gold leaf earrings? They are bea-u-ti-ful! They really pair nicely with this dainty necklace without being overwhelming (there’s that balance).
It’s safe to say I was quite happy with how this look turned out. I wore this when I went out with some of my girlfriend’s to celebrate a birthday. We rented a Mercedes-Benz bus (I think that’s what its called) and headed to Vineyard 48. It’s definitely a great place if you’re into wine-tasting, music, and day party-ish vibes.
