Frustration, confusion, despair, and dissatisfaction.
Not the typical words I would use to start a blog post, but those are all things that I’ve felt lately. If you have a passion for something and you’re not where you thought you would be then those emotions seem pretty fitting. At some point, I felt like I lost myself and time just continued to fly by. I’ve always been goal oriented and thrive off of the accomplishment, but what happens once you graduate college-then grad school, but you’re still not working in your desired field?
A little over a year ago, I decided to start blogging again. It was something that I had tried before (a few times-blogspot & xanga-yes xanga was a thing), but never really stuck. But…this time it did. This time it was different. It became my outlet and allowed me to focus on something that I enjoyed doing; sharing my outfits and beauty obsessions. I started to look forward to it more and more because I was able to tap into my creative side. It was invigorating being able to step outside of my own comfort zones and be able to look back and see my progression. As I grew in my personal life so did my style.
After a lot of thought, tears, headaches, restless nights and anxiety (not to mention flipping back and forth) I decided to make one of the biggest decisions in my life. Actually, the biggest and riskiest one. I decided to leave my full time job to focus on my blog *insert jaw drop*
Why? How are you going to afford to live? Do you even make money off of blogging? No, really-why?
Those are only some of the questions that I’ve gotten since I decided to make this life-changing decision. Yes, it’s not an easy decision to make especially with bills and responsibilities, but it’s something that feels so right. Plus, I have an amazing God, family and boyfriend who are my support system. At 26, I’ve learned that if you’re passionate about something and you can’t go a day without thinking about it-then you need to make some changes-even if it scares you.

What better way than to start a new journey with my favorite pieces; florals & white pants! It a clean and crisp look perfect for fall while incorporating your spring/summer favorites. Plus, gray is a great color for fall!
I’ll be sharing a new YouTube video soon going into a bit more details on my journey so keep an eye out for that! I can’t tell you how excited I am to start this new journey with you and to see where it will lead!
