Who ever said you just need one lip color? Well, I have five to share from Revlon’s ColorBurst Matte Balm Collection!
I picked these up at RiteAid in December, so they aren’t that new but I thought they were worth mentioning because I adore them! The collection has a total of 10 shades that provide a matte finish while moisturizing your lips at the same time. Umm..can we say a dream come true?!
220 Showy
A fun magenta color paired with NYX Dolly Pink is great for a night out with friends for a pop of color!
240 Striking
A luscious red paired with NYX Hot Red is a great classic look for date night (hint: Valentine’s Day)!
205 Elusive
A brown/pink nude paired with NYX Peekaboo Neutral is soft enough for an everyday look!
210 Unapologetic
A bright coral/orange, which is great for spring and summer nights!
225 Sultry
A deep brown nude paired with NYX natural is great for drinks after work!
Color: Very pigmented and allows for build-able color for more intense looks.
Wear: They lasted a few hours without touching up as long as I didn’t eat or drink. As time passed it wore off, but left a subtle lip stain
Smell: They have a minty smell, which is great because its refreshing and your significant other will appreciate it!
Feel: So soft, like butter! They glide on your lips while moisturizing which is crucial this winter and leave a velvety matte finish! Who doesn’t love a matte finish?
Overall: I love them! They are a great drugstore purchase because they are affordable and have a good range of colors. I appreciate being able to keep my lips moisturized without having to sacrifice color. It’s great to be able to throw it in my bag and go! My favorite are Showy and Elusive! If you’re looking for something new then I would give them a try.
