Well, the new year is here and what better way than to start with some new products?!
I’ve always been a fan of trying new products out, but ever since I tried doing it every week (see here)-well let’s just say my face wasn’t too happy about it. I still haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause, but I had a pretty bad reaction. Whatever it was, it caused my skin to start flaking (gross, I know) and leave tiny bumps and rough patches along my face. Oh, and my eyelids got very dry and itchy. It was a hot mess to say the least-ahh the realities of being a beauty blogger. Now that I grossed you out let’s move on to the fun stuff!
How adorable is this bottle? It’s definitely what caught my eye when I was in Target. It’s so sleek and I’m always a sucker for packaging.
This foundation would be great for combination and oily skin (possibly normal as well). At the time that I tried it out my skin was way too dry so it didn’t do me any good. It clung to my dry spots (even with a primer) so it’s not suitable for my winter needs. It’s a light to (build-able) medium coverage, which is great for people who are just looking for a even complexion without taking away from their natural one. The plus side? It has SPF 20 built in which cancels out that extra step in your routine. That’s always a plus especially when you’re on the go. 
Looking for some extra length and dimension to your lashes, but don’t want to hassle with falsies? Then this product is for you! I was a little weirded out at first because I didn’t know what the nylon fibers were suppose to look like (I may or may not have thought that my package was expired *sshh*), but it actually turned out to be pretty cool. It’s a lash system that allows you to make your natural lashes look like falsies!
I received so many compliments when I wore this and I must say that I fell in love. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for everyday wear because it’s a bit of a pain to take completely off, but it’s great for those special nights out. I’ve never been disappointed by Too Faced! 
If it’s one thing that I love it’s lipsticks! And this color is b e a u t i f u l!!!
I absolutely love Maybelline lippies! They always do such a great job with their range of shades and pigmentation. And this was no exception! It’s a gorgeous berry shade (hence the blissful berry name) which is perfect for winter or even when you just want a bold lip. And for $7 you can’t beat it!! Need I say more?
This is a great palette for beginners! It has a great range of matte and shimmer shades all within the neutral spectrum. My favorite shade is Sassy (the white one) because it’s so pigmented. It does have a bit of fall out, but I love how it looks packed on!
