A few weeks ago I was contacted by my first client (exciting!) who was just hired for Marc Jacob’s corporate office in New York City. She was looking to take her wardrobe from laid back to business casual and I was more than happy to help. I will be sharing some outfits that I styled for her in a later post, so stay tuned!
I wanted to wear something that represented some of the looks that she was inspired by so I decided to go with the boyfriend jean trend. I love this jean because it is a relaxed look, but can be dressed up for a night out or a day in the office. 
This was a very easy outfit to style. I paired my distressed boyfriend jeans from Target with a white tank top and that alone is an easy casual outfit. Want to spice it up? I added my favorite structured blazer, a statement necklace, and some gold rings which dramatically changes the look from casual to business casual.
For this look I went with platform booties. I was going to be shopping and styling most of the day so I wanted to be comfortable. Want to glam it up? Add a pair of pumps!

I’ll be going to IMATS tomorrow for the first time and I’m so excited! I can’t wait to pick up some goodies. Maybe a little too excited.
