Can you believe Christmas is 8 days away?!
Well I can’t. It feels like just yesterday I was getting ready to eat an abundance of turkey, stuffing, and sweet potato pie and now I’m wrapping gifts, humming Christmas carols with a gauzed-filled mouth. I got my wisdom teeth removed on Monday (eek!).
These cold winter months always have me craving something warm and cozy. Whether it’s hot cocoa, cuddling, or a good warm sweater. I was feeling very bohemian when I put together this look (well my version of bohemian) and I just fell in l o v e. This sweater is super comfortable. I love this look because it keeps me nice and warm while still being stylish. It’s the best of both worlds! 
I wore this outfit when I did some Christmas shopping with my girlfriends, but that wasn’t the smartest idea. The mall was ridiculously hot-like sauna hot. So let’s just say that I won’t be making that mistake again. But, it was perfect once we left and went out to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, Barrique. It’s a cute tapas restaurant and their wine list is divine! Ah, what I would do for a glass of wine right now!
The winter season is great for layering and that’s what I love about this look. If it gets a bit too warm then I can just take the poncho off or vice versa. And how beautiful are these feather earrings? I got them when they were all the buzz two years ago (maybe longer than that?). I rediscovered them while I was going through my cleaning frenzy and I love how dainty and pretty they are. Plus, I can’t remember the last time I wore anything other than studs. 
I’m heading to Georgia next week to spend Christmas with my family and I can’t wait! It’s been awhile so I can’t wait to just spend some time with them. What are your travel plans for the holidays?
