Like all good things..they must come to an end. And boy was my birthday weekend a good one!
First off, I would like to say thank you to everyone who wished me well and for those who got to participate with me in one way or another! I’m extremely grateful and blessed for the love that was shared with me this past weekend. I get butterflies every time I look at all of the messages because you took the time out of your day to wish me a happy birthday-even if it took a few seconds to write. And that means the world to me because it was your time and you spent it on me and that’s something that I greatly cherish.
Birthday’s are a big deal for me. I mean big…like three day event big *haha* well at least back when I was younger. I think it’s the Colombian in me *winks* But seriously-it’s the one day that belongs to YOU. Why not celebrate it?! The way I look at it is that you’ve been blessed with another year and you should be grateful. So, take that day (or weekend) to do the things that YOU love with the people that love you. Isn’t that what life is about anyway?
I got to do everything I wanted this weekend and I couldn’t have been happier! I’ll be sharing those looks throughout the week with the details, but for now I’ll share this look that is perfect for weekend brunch.
I was going to actually wear this outfit yesterday for my birthday, but it rained all day and it was just gloomy. So guess what I did? I spent the day with Garry and my parents watching my favorite TV shows and some movies. I’m telling you it doesn’t get better than that. Oh, and the homemade chocolate covered strawberries my mom made were definitely the icing on the cake!
Here’s to another year full of good health, happiness, love, and success! *cheers*
