What do you get when you combine Dave Chappelle and Nas? An ah-mazing performance!
We went to the Dave Chappelle show this past Monday and he was extremely funny. I’ve never seen any of his acts in person, but he was quite the character. There was a performance by Nas and I was blown away. It was the 20th anniversary for his album
“Illmatic” and you could hear the passion behind his lyrics. The best part? The coordination between him and the orchestra, which he only met the day before! It took me back to my younger years, which is something that I appreciate about music. It was definitely a night to remember!
I literally could not think of anything to wear. I was having one of those “I have nothing to wear” moments, but I had an image in my head that consisted of a body con dress and a large cardigan. So what’s better than a quick shopping trip? 
I got this body con dress from H&M for only $12.95! It was exactly what I was looking for and for such a great price there was no way I could pass it up! 
I also purchased this blush pink cardigan from Forever 21 to lighten up the look. I wanted it to still be appropriate for Spring so I thought the color would do the trick.
While I was rummaging through F21, I came across this headband that I just fell in love with. I have an obsession with braided headbands (just in case you haven’t noticed yet) and I loved the cream color which complimented the blush pink cardigan.
I also picked up two sets of these black and gold bangles. Mostly because of the gold braided bangle because I just fell in love! I didn’t want to wear a statement necklace because I wanted the focus on the headband. I slipped on my caged sandals and voila! I was ready and out the door!
