Day to Night: 1940’s Inspired Blazer

I know, I know. I’ve been M.I.A.

It has been a very busy two weeks and I’m so excited to share my experience at the LuckyFabb event with you (later this week).

I came across an outfit that I meant to post a few weeks back, but never got the chance to. I thought it was fun to mix some nudes with a pop of color.

I love these shorts from H&M because they can be paired with different tops to create completely different looks. I wore it with this gray tank top from H&M (such a great buy for a basic top) to create a casual look. For a more casual look, you can pair it with sandals like I did here.This outfit is easy to transition from day to night by just adding a blazer and heels. It’s great to have statement pieces in your wardrobe so that you can style it and create completely different looks. We were going to dinner so I wanted to dress it up and I decided to pair it with one of my favorite blazers from Forever21. I love the padded shoulders and it makes me feel extremely chic every time I wear it. I picked my nude pointed pumps for this outfit because I wanted to balance out the colors while leaving the attention on my blazer and shorts. If you don’t own a pair of nude heels-you need to. They are an essential!

I decided to add some spice to my outfit with this floral clutch. I think it’s a great way to incorporate a pattern into your outfit. Hope everyone had a great Monday and enjoy the rest of your week!
