…And in the blink of an eye, summer was gone. Just like that.
Although I may be getting ahead of myself here-it’s just how the weather has been making me feel lately. Our hot sunny days have been numbered this year and the fall-like cool breezes have set in. While I am upset about it- I can’t help but be excited for fall fashion.
I came up with this look for an “End of Summer BBQ” look because of the testy temperatures we’ve been having in New York. It’s perfect for this type of occasion because it’s still within the summer color scheme and the cardigan serves as an extra layer in case it get cool. 
Over the years, I’ve learned that your outfit doesn’t need to completely match like for like. But…there is a part of me that enjoys pairing items together because I like how it ties the whole look. Which, as you can see-I did here!
I got this beautiful statement necklace from New York & Company a few weeks ago. I was so excited to wear it and when I added the cardigan to this look I knew that it was perfection. I love how it made the necklace pop even more.
