The Everyday Little Black Dress

Little Black Dress Brass Clothing If you were to open my closet door you would find an overflowing amount of black dresses. And all with good reason. Trust me.

The little black dress is a closet staple for the fact that you can wear it for just about any occasion and it’s timeless. It never goes out of style and you will ALWAYS look chic. Now you get why I own so many? I partnered with Brass Clothing to show you my favorite way to wear my everyday little black dress for a night out with my boo!

One of the things that Garry and I have learned is to make sure to always make time for yourself as a couple. Sure, we see each other everyday but we’re both working on our own things. Ya know-power couple status. The tough part about that is that we sometimes forget to go out and actually enjoy each other’s companies. And that’s where date night comes into play. At least once a month we get dressed up and do something we want to do. The dressing up part is just as fun as the date *wink*

Black Dress and Gold Belt W by Worth Olive Duster Coat Date Night Black Dress White Envelope Clutch Aldo Accessories Black and Gold Outfit Our most recent date was to dinner and drinks at Aji 53. I decided to wear this black dress because it looks super chic and it’s comfortable. I hate wearing clothes that I feel uncomfortable in because it translates into my body language. And most of the times it winds up turning into a not-so-fun night, but that was not the case this time! The quality of the dress is amazing. It’s thick enough where you can’t see through it and it hugs your curves.

The best thing about a great LBD is that you can accessorize it so many different ways to create various looks. I added this beautiful gold plated belt to break up the black on black and sprinkled it through with my rings, bracelets, and clutch. Can you believe that chokers are back in?! I decided to give it a shot and loved the way it looked. It added a bit of edginess to it. I threw over this olive green duster coat that I’m obsessed with! Seriously, I could wear this color everyday. The coat contrasts beautifully and it’s just another way to spice up your little black dress!

Hope you’re enjoying your week so far! I’m running on two cups of coffee already *eekk*
