Festival Inspired|Florals & Lace

Festival season is upon us. Bring out the fringe, lace, sunglasses, and let’s not forget the sunscreen!

Well let me not get ahead of myself. Sadly, I won’t be attending any festivals this season (Coachella 2016-I’m coming for you!) but that doesn’t mean I don’t get to have any fun dressing the part. I mean, who can resist?

By now, we all know that I have a slight obsession with florals. So it’s not a surprise that I fell in love with these trousers when I spotted them in H&M. What can I say, I have a good eye! Plus, it’s the perfect pop of color for spring! I decided to have a little fun and mix it with lace *gasp* I know, a bit outside my comfort zone. Mixing prints can be a bit overwhelming, especially when trying to get the right combination. Just remember to have fun and keep trying until it feels right to you. At the end of the day that’s all that matters!!

Since I was channeling my inner festival gal I decided that the lace crop top would be a perfect fit. The two things kind of go hand in hand. I love how it adds some sexiness to the look and since it’s neutral (we can agree on black being a neutral, right?) it balances out the floral trousers. I paired this look with heels for a warm spring night out, but feel free to opt for some fringe sandals. Just keep mixing away!

Throw on a faux shearling vest and some aviators and you are good to go!

I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful Wednesday. We’re halfway there! I’m more excited than usual because I’m spending the weekend with my best girlfriends from college-nothing like the good ol’ days!
