Is it really July already?! This summer seems to be racing by!
This summer has been very interesting. As I get older, I realize how much more of an effort you have to make in order to enjoy life. It’s so easy to get wrapped up with work, paying bills, hobbies, etc but the moments that count are the ones that make you smile. Those are the ones that last forever-so remember to make it count!
As I was browsing Forever 21, I came across this floral maxi length dress that I just fell in love with. I mean, what girl doesn’t love florals?! I knew it was the perfect dress to wear to my friend’s baby shower and I did just that!
The florals make it stand out all on its own so I didn’t want to over accessorize. I kept it very minimal with a statement necklace and a pair of studs. I l o v e d the length because I feel like it added just the right about of classiness.
I’ve mentioned before how picky I am with wedges and these were one of the pairs that I picked up a few years ago. I thought they went great with the dress for the baby shower because it dressed it down. Adding heels would have been more appropriate for a date or work event.
