One of my favorite hairstyles is beach waves. There’s something about the effortless look that works so well.
But, is it really effortless?
The truth? No, it actually requires some effort. Unless you’re this beach goddess who literally just wakes up like this. Then hey, all power to you. For the rest of us all you need is a good curling rod and your favorite beach styling products.
Pro Tip: This looks works best on “dirty” hair so I usually do this the day after I wash. It helps hold the waves longer.
Products Used
- Nume 32mm Wand (the ones without a clamp work better for this look. If you have one with a clamp then don’t open it up)
- Amina Dry Shampoo (love the way it smells and works great at soaking up any excess oil)
- Bumble & Bumble Surf Infusion (perfect for adding texture to those beach waves without the actual salt water)
- L’Oreal Lock It Hairspray (LOVE the way it smells and doesn’t leave hair sticky or gritty. Major plus!)
