As I look outside at the falling snow, I’m wondering where the time went. I can’t believe it’s December 10th already! It’s feels like 2013 passed in the blink of an eye, but this is the best time of the year! There is so much to be thankful for and the atmosphere in New York during December is like no other.
I adore this chunky sweater from the minute I laid eyes on it in Forever 21. I am in love with gold, especially when it’s paired with black or white. I thought the gold shoulders were the right touch to such a simple sweatshirt. It takes the sweater from average to edgy, which allows for some versatility (always a plus). 
I went for a more casual & edgy look, so I paired it with jeans and these new cut out booties that I am in LOVE with. I kept the accessories simple because I didn’t want to overpower the sweater. The best part? It’s all from Forever21, so it’s extremely affordable and perfect for a casual dinner and movie date. 
I completed my look with a bright and (soft) contoured face, soft smoky eye, and this mauve/wine lipstick from Smashbox. I loved the color, but it wasn’t as long lasting as I wished it to be. It is a glossy finish, which I’m usually not crazy about, but it’s great for this season. The glossiness allows to keep your lips moisturized as opposed to a matte.
