Is it crazy to anyone that it’s Friday already? I just feel like this week went by super fast. We’re already coming to the end of January!?!
Okay, I’ll relax. But, seriously.
I know, you guys are sick of seeing this coat but I just can’t get enough. It’s such a great way to add some spice to any outfit and it’s so versatile (see here and here). And I don’t mind being a repeat offender *smirks* I actually wore this outfit last weekend to Simone’s party. It’s super comfortable and I’ve been obsessed with graphic sweaters lately. Especially if they have a crew neck-not really sure why though. I used to despise how they looked, but that’s the thing about fashion-it’s always revolving and evolving. I mean if overalls can make a comeback then anything can.
Can I tell you another one of my latest obsessions? It’s this liquid lipstick from Lime Crime. Ohemgee! It’s their Velvetines in the color Cashmere and I can-not stop wearing it. It’s a greige (grey/beige) color which tends to be very popular right now. I love wearing it with a neutral nude lipliner like NYX lip liner in peekaboo neutral. It has a more pinky tone so combined it makes the perfect lip color!
I’ve been in a very simplistic mood with my accessories lately. I’m usually just wearing a pair of studs and if I’m feeling fancy then I’ll throw on a necklace or ring (or two). Sometimes a good graphic sweater is all you need to make a statement.
What I love about graphic sweaters is that they can completely be dressed up by just adding a pair of heels. This is a great outfit for grabbing drinks with friends or even a movie date, which is what I think we’re doing tonight.
We haven’t been to the movies in awhile so I’m excited to see one. But I can’t seem to choose! I’m torn between American Sniper (I’ve heard great things), Selma (another highly rated movie), and don’t judge me-The Boy Next Door (I mean, it’s J.Lo!).
