Yup, I said wedding. And no, not mine.
This past Friday, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid to one of my best friend’s, Carissa. It was nothing short of magical (..seriously..) and I don’t think any of us could have asked for more. She looked absolutely s t u n n i n g and surprisingly the day went on without a hiccup and a very cool & collected bride. Weird, I know!
I’m a hopeless romantic so you can already imagine the amount of tears shed that night *teeth clenching emoji*, BUT I will tell you that my makeup didn’t budge. Our bridesmaid dresses were a taupe/nude color and it was all lace which I loved because they made a very subtle statement-which I’m all about. I wanted the eyes to really pop, but also compliment the dress so I went with a purple smokey eye with some glitter. It’s a wedding-go big or go home, ya know! I was so pleased with this look that I decided to film a get ready with me video so you could see the process and maybe gather some inspiration for your own wedding shenanigans. This look would also be perfect for prom because it packs a punch with the glittered lid, but still keeps it smokey so it’s sexy.
