As you get older it feels like the time goes quicker! It feels like we were just in the holiday season, except now I’m another year older!
As time goes on, I realize how important it is to spend time with the people you love. I was lucky enough to do just that! This year my birthday fell on Easter, so we kicked off my celebration with a delicious brunch from Sotto 13 the day before. The food was AH-mazing and they offered bottomless Bellini’s for $29! How do you beat that?!
For brunch I wanted to go with a chic but edgy look (yea, I know,what’s new?). While I was birthday shopping, I came across this faux leather skirt which I decided to pick up because of the accented zippers. I paired it with a flirty graphic tank and dressed it up with this beautiful white blazer. I fell in love the moment I saw it at Zara. I knew it had to be mine when I tried it on and walked around the store in it. I mean, how much more Olivia Pope could it get?!
I found this chunky silver chained necklace which was the perfect fit for my edgy/chic look. I love the layered necklace trend right now! I kept the rest of my accessories very minimal and added a pair of faux snakeskin caged heels to complete the look.
