I’ve recently moved to Astoria and it’s been quite the adventure.
My favorite part of this fresh start is being able to decorate (oh and cutting down on an hour and a half off of my commute). I had to buy all new furniture and decided to go with my favorite colors; white and Tiffany Blue. It’s in the name, what can I say? *flips hairs*
It’s still a work in progress, but my it’s coming along rather nicely. Although my room is incredibly cozy it does make it extremely hard to wake up in the morning (especially with the 20 degree weather we’ve been having). I love being surrounded by pillows while feeling as if I’m sleeping on a big fluffy cloud.
Next step: Wall art.
I’ve started briefly with the flower decor on the accent wall (purchased at Target. I also picked up some wooden letters from Michaels and painted them the same color as my accent wall which hangs over my door. I need to add some photos (hopefully I will tackle that this weekend).
I’m a firm believer (from experience) that if you can’t see what you have then you won’t wear it. I decided to display all of my accessories out in the open so I have a clear view of my options. Lately, I’ve been sticking to just earrings, but I’ve been trying to focus on accessorizing more to spark up this cold weather.
Oh, if you are looking for a new scent to try then I would definitely recommend Marc Jacobs’ Oh, Lola! It’s a light flowery scent.
Hope you enjoyed!
Time for some beauty sleep….sweet dreams!
