If you haven’t noticed by now with all of the Santa commercials and christmas tree filled malls-holiday is in full effect. While I can’t help but cringe at the thought of colder days and *gasp* snow, I am looking forward to spending time with my family. But, enough jumping the gun. November just started! Which means there’s still time for leather, light jackets, and vampy lipstick.
My go-to item this fall has been my moto leather jacket from H&M. I actually got it this past spring on sale and I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s so versatile and immediately adds a touch of edginess to any outfit (I mean a n y outfit-try it with joggers or even a dress).
Wearing leather on leather can be a bit tricky. Sometimes the leather (disclaimer: when I say leather, I really mean faux leather) doesn’t match and that’s okay! I usually try to pair leather that has different texture to it so it can compliment one another. This jacket has detailing on the shoulder, which compliments the detailing around the knee of the leggings.
For a splash of chicness, I added a white peplum top. Black and white is such a crisp and classic color combo so it was instant love when I paired it together. I wanted more of an edgy look so I added a chunky chained necklace and these cat-eyed sunnies. Oh, let’s not forget the lips! Since I was in such a rebellious mood I topped my lips with Sugar Plum Fairy from Wet-n-Wild. It’s such a beautiful dark burgundy color, perfect for fall! And it’s only $2!! Talk about a great buy!

The thing I love about this look is how it’s fierce, yet feminine. I’m all about using your style to exude your confidence. Hence the “you can’t tell me nothin'” expression on my face *laughs* I could have conquered the world that day!
