New year, new me? As far as changing this year has already started off with some major adjustments which has been why I’ve been MIA and I’m so sorry for that.
So, where have I been?
Well I started another job! I started the year off with a new position as a Social Media Manager for a fashion retailer and it’s been quite the journey so far. It’s been very exciting yet exhausting at the same time which has tested my time management skills. Or lack thereof. Slowly, but surely I’m getting into more of a routine so it will be easier to share this new journey with you all.
One of the biggest things that I’ve learned from my blogging journey was being able to use and leverage my skills to further my career. As a blogger I’ve been able to speak to certain experiences that actually qualified as real work experience. Who would have thought? After graduating college (even with my Masters) I found it a bit challenging to find a job in my field without “experience”. I mean isn’t that why I was applying for the job? It’s a struggle that I know some of my friends faced as well so it was very exciting (and interesting) being able to use the new digital age to my advantage.
I’ll be entering the last year of my twenties this year (Oh-my) and I’m so grateful to have been able to share these past three years with all of you. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my blog and for all of your support. It’s something that I cherish all the time because I’ve been able to just be myself. You’re the reason that I enjoy sharing pieces of my life so thank you for always accepting me with open arms.
