It’s no surprise that the 80’s and 90’s have been making quite the comeback over the past couple of years regarding fashion trends. Body suits being one of them.
Last Thursday night I was posted up on my couch with the TV on while I was working when one of my favorite movies came on. Can you guess? Well, I’ll tell ya. Dirty Dancing! While I was busy swooning I realized that a lot of the trends that I’m seeing now were featured in the movie; off the shoulder tops, body suits, mom shorts/jeans, etc. I then found myself picking up this lace up body suit at Cotton On and the love is real.
The thing about the body suit is that it really hugs your curves-which I clearly love. I prefer to balance them out with a good pair of tomgirl jeans like these from American Eagle because they are a bit looser but not too baggy. Plus, I’m a sucker for some good ripped jeans. This outfit is perfect for the days where you still want to look good yet comfortable. And if you want to get a bit more comfy then all you have to do is switch out your shoes for some cute flats or sandals and voila!
