A couple of months ago I visited the Laura Geller offices and boy was it makeup heaven.
We had the chance to meet Laura Geller herself (the sweetest!) and play with all her baked products. Like I said, makeup heaven. I fell in love with a bunch of her products but the one that stood out the most was the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators. They just expanded and added two new shades; Peach Glow & Charming Pink. Ohemgee.
If you follow me on social media then you know how much I couldn’t get enough of Charming Pink. It had me glowing to the Gods so I was an instant fan. Plus, the formula? Ah-mazing. I decided to test out the other 3 shades and if you don’t have them in your collection then I’m not sure what you’re waiting for! Keep reading to find out exactly why I love the formula, what complexions they work for, and my favorite one!
Can you guess which highlighters I have where on my face? (hint: it’s all 4!)
Charming Pink $26: This is a buttery soft illuminator that has more of a silvery/icy sheen to it. It’s perfect for fair to light skin tones so if you’re on the deeper side than it works perfect as an inner corner highlight!
Peach Glow $26: This is a beautiful peachy shade with hint of iciness. It’s so BEAUTIFUL! It looks very goddess-like on light to medium skin tones because of the peachiness. It’s the definition of highlight on fleek for olive skin tones.
Gilded Honey $26: The hype is all too REAL. This is a fan favorite for a reason! It’s a gorgeous golden shade that literally just melts into your cheeks. It looks amazing on light to medium/deep skin tones so it’s very universal. It’s literally perfection! Also, it’s a good dupe for MAC’s Whisper of Guilt or Oh, Darling in case you couldn’t get your hands on it.
Ballerina $26: At first glance I didn’t think I would find much use for this shade, but boy was I wrong. It’s such a beautiful bronze shade that is perfect for medium to deep skin tones. I personally LOVE wearing it as an inner corner highlight (as seen in photos) and as an eyeshadow. I also wear it as a highlight when I have a darker tan and it makes me look like J-Lo. Who doesn’t want that?
As you can see I’m obsessed! These are some of my go-to highlighters because the formula is so buttery soft and each shade just blends into your skin so nicely. So when I say that you need at least one of these in your collection-trust me, you do.
I’m wearing Gilded Honey on the tops of my cheeks, Ballerina on the inner corner of my eye, Charming Pink on my nose, and Peach Glow above my cupid’s bow. Did you guess right?
