For as long as I can remember I’ve been in love with makeup. I remember watching my mother stand in the mirror every morning pursing her lips against a crayon-esque tube. While little ol’ me sat there in fascination. I was intrigued by the the rich colored lipsticks and how elegant it made her look with one swift swipe. It was like I was behind the scenes of a classic Hollywood movie taping. So you can see how excited I was in 5th grade when my friend Brittany brought in a pink L’Oreal lipstick. It was history from then on.
As a latina, I’ve learned to embrace not only my curves but being comfortable and confident in my own skin-makeupless and all. But-yes, there’s a but…wearing makeup is way more fun! I love being able to create a different look based on my mood and it makes me feel that more confident. Those days are the days that I have that extra pep in my step.
So, what better way than to share one of my “because you’re worth it” looks?! I had the pleasure to partner with L’Oreal Paris, which I am a huge fan of! They have been with me from that day in 5th grade. They are empowering Latinas to unleash their inner beauty, inspiration and education. They believe that every women is worth it and use that as inspiration for creating products that help women feel confident and beautiful. Who doesn’t want to feel that? Not only are there products affordable, but they are made of great quality. Some of my must-haves are from L’Oreal Paris!
This L’Oreal True Match foundation is ah-mazing! Not only is it affordable, but it compliments your skin in the best way. If you know me, then you know this is one of my go-to foundations. It literally melts into your skin to give you that “my skin, but better” effect. Don’t believe me? Keep scrolling *winks*
These L’Oreal Infalliable Silkissime eyeliners are ridiculously pigmented!! My favorite is this gold one (well, no surprise there) which I used as an eyeshadow base. It glided on so smoothly and blended flawlessly. Hard to believe it’s from the drugstore. If there’s ever a color that instantly makes me feel chic-it’s gold.
The cobalt blue is also very beautiful! It’s a bit too bright for my personal taste so I blended it out with the perpetual purple for a more smoked out look. That’s the great thing about makeup-you make it work for YOU! 
Hands down, one of my favorite mascaras! The L’Oreal Voluminous mascara is a classic! It lengthens my eyelashes and creates instant volume! Mascara makes a huge difference for any look. It adds that extra bit of oomph which is also great for those days when you don’t feel like wearing your full glam face!
I completely fell in love with the Extraordinaire by Colour Riche! They are very pigmented and glossy-the best of both worlds! I actually didn’t even need to apply lipstick underneath (I did because Fairest Nude is a classic for me) so it’s great when you’re on the go. 
This look is simple, yet elegant. It only took 9 steps! My inspiration for this look was the red carpet. Why, do you ask? Well the 15th annual Latin GRAMMY’s are coming up!
