Makeup is probably a hobby at this point..well maybe an obsession.
Sephora and Ulta are like my playground. I definitely can spend an unreasonable amount of time (and money) just testing different products and talking to the girls who work there. It’s always good to get a different perspective, especially a professional one. I am a firm believer in trying things for myself. If I see something I like or a certain color that interests me then I buy it. It’s not always a win-win situation, but at least I tried.
I took a recent trip to Sephora to pick up my face wash (Clinique) and some new goodies.
I decided to try NARS Laguna Bronzer, which had a nice golden shimmer to it. I love it because it’s not a heavy bronzer and it allows me to have a sun-kissed glow during winter while not looking overly tan. I look forward for the summer because I feel like it will add the right amount of bronzer to my natural tan. Prior, I used Benefit Hoola which is also on my favorites list.
I also tried NARS multiple makeup stick in Orgasm. I wanted a highlight to accent my cheekbones and jaw line since I happen to have a rounder face.
I used to get single lash extension (which I terribly miss), but since I moved to Astoria it’s been a little difficult to get back on the island. I am very particular with who does my eyelashes since it’s one of the most sensitives areas of your face. As a replacement, I tried Benefit They’re Real mascara, which does the trick. It extends my lashes and I feel as if I have my extensions (for half of the hassle & price).
I purchased the red lipstick from MAC fairly recent and it is definitely one of my faves! It’s called Russian Red. It’s a very deep red, which I love. I’m all about the depth.
