For everyone who was wondering where Winter was…well, she’s here. And with a big ol’ slap in the face!
Maybe it was my optimism that had me hanging on and hoping we could get through to Spring *wishful thinking* but nonetheless it’s nothing we haven’t endured before. The minute the cold starts to set in my mind is racing off to tropical vacations and some of my favorite warmer places. Naturally, Cali comes up.
Traveling seems to be a popular goal for everyone this year and with good reason. Not only is it about experiencing new things but learning about different cultures, history, and trying different foods. I’m all about the food part! Today, I wanted to share my favorite place to stay in beautiful sunny California; Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica.
We stayed at this hotel on our last trip to Cali which was back in September and oh-my-gosh *valley girl voice* I fell in love! First of all, Santa Monica is my favorite place to go to because there’s Cha Cha Chicken, the beach & pier, great shopping-all in one area. It’s basically my personal definition of what I expected California to be. Oh, let’s not forget the beautiful views!
Le Méridien was no exception to my vision. The decor plays a great touch to the whole Californian vibes, but the customer service is what sold me. They have the nicest staff and that’s HUGE for me. My previous job taught me the importance of customer service and creating an experience so I have some prettttty high standards. Learn to never settle!
Although this isn’t a fancy tropical vacay I wanted to share some of my favorite places to travel to. I’m hoping to make 2016 my most traveled year so what better way than for us to share our travel tips together?!
