NYFW Style Lounge

Top Clothing Designers (check), Fashion Editors & Bloggers (check), Celebrities (Check) Where does one find all of these under the same roof (and by roof I mean Lincoln Center!)? New York’s very own Fashion Week!

NYFW is the busiest and one of the most exciting times of the year. It’s every girl’s dream (well at least mine) to attend, which I’ve had the pleasure of doing so in the past. NYFW isn’t just about the designer shows-it’s about the whole experience.

I had the chance to attend NYFW Style Lounge at the Empire Rooftop Hotel, which is directly across from the sought-out venue. I was able to check out some samples from Natya Porter, which were very feminine and chic! NYFW Style Lounge Red Carpet   Forever 21 Dress Mid Shot NYFW Style Lounge

I was able to make some new friends! I met Paulina Brusca (pictured below) who is a Senior Media Manager for Synaptic Digital and Jennifer Maria who is a model. Both were very sweet and great to talk to! SONY DSCThe view from the Empire Hotel was gorgeous. I’m still amazes me that this city is still able to ‘wow’ me. SONY DSCI’m all about color blocking for the spring and with summer coming to an end, I thought it would be a great way to transition my grey & black with some some hot pink and royal blue. Forever 21 Dress Side ShotForever 21 Dress Mid ShotWe decided to shoot this outfit in better light and what better place than Astoria park?! I purchased this dress from Forever 21(on sale now!) awhile back and never got to wear it until this night. I thought it was a great combination of casual and chic. The sheer skirt with the slit adds some sex appeal while keeping the dress classy. I paired it with some hot pink pumps from Forever 21 (similar) for a pop of color (I have these pumps in this color as well). Pink Shoes Forever 21Pink Shoes Forever 21 Close UpI paired it with a silver statement necklace (similar) from Forever 21 to tie in the entire outfit and kept the rest of my jewelry to a minimum. I didn’t want to over power the outfit with tons of jewelry because I still wanted the look to be neat.Forever 21 Dress OOTNOne of my favorite places is definitely Astoria park. It’s a great place to just breathe in some fresh air and enjoy the Manhattan view!Astoria Park NYC ViewHope everyone enjoyed their Fashion week!
