Boy, has it been awhile! First of all, I want to say THANK YOU! The amount of positive and supportive responses I received from my last post was overwhelming-the good kind. It’s been an emotional roller coaster lately and your support pushes me to keep fighting forward!
After my last day I decided to take a week off and just mentally reset. I wanted to be able to clear my mind so I would be fully ready for this new journey. Well needless to say-that seemed a lot easier than done. The anxiety definitely kicked in and my toss-turning nights seemed to overpower my “vacation”. Tuesday was about the first day that I was able to stop my mind from racing and finally enjoy the company of my family and friends that I didn’t have the chance to often see (or is it “see often”?).
I know what you’re thinking-what does this have to do with a style board? Well, one of the things that actually kept me at peace was the idea of redecorating some of the rooms in my house (well, my parent’s house). I just felt incredibly inspired by time. I finally had the time to look at the small things, which are usually the most important! I found myself browsing the web for pillows, beds, and lights instead of my normal distressed denim, leather booties, and Bobbi Brown highlights-actually I still did that one.
