Sunday….my favorite day of the week! It’s the most relaxed, carefree, and diverse day. It’s filled with brunch (which obviously includes mimosas), new food venues, relaxed/casual outfits, and missions to find a puppy (well maybe that part is just for me).
This Sunday, I decided to add some color to this cold and dreary winter weather we have been having in New York. I whipped out my coral pants (a girl can dream of spring weather). It was the one piece of clothing that I knew I wanted to wear because it matched my mood. Mainly because we were taking a trip to an animal shelter since I’ve been having puppy fever.
Like any girl, I had about five wardrobe changes within twenty minutes before we actually got to head out for brunch. After the last change (or what I thought was the last) I decided that I matched way too much. I had gone with a sweater that had just as much burgundy and coral as my pants. I decided to simplify my outfit and add a denim shirt. It was the perfect match! (no pun intended). I paired it with my tan booties and some arm candy. The statement jewelry added the right amount of edge!
It’s such a plain outfit but it felt perfect for such a casual fun-filled day!

My wrist has been deprived of some arm candy and I decided to give in!
I couldn’t find the right lip color so I decided to play around and mix. I used Smashbox Melondrama and Revlon’s Sky Pink. I was quite surprised with the shade and I can’t wait to experiment with some more colors.
We went to Krave in Astoria, which was a cute little place for brunch. They had unlimited mimosas and delicious pancakes & waffles. If you’re ever in town and are looking for a quick eat, Krave is your place!
