The combination of the sun and beach leaves little desire to get dressed up since you’re spending most of your day in a bathing suit. Which means one thing-I definitely overpacked. I didn’t realize how much time we would be spending in the water (beach, Kayaking, Jet skiing, etc).
One of the nights, we went to dinner at Yarnbird Southern Table & Bar which was so mouth-watering. We ordered the fried chicken (perfectly tender, but crispy), Mac & Cheese (a tasty blend of five cheese with sprinkled bread crumbs), and warm biscuits. As you can tell, it’s definitely a must try if you’re in the area.
I decided to go for a casual outfit since we would also be walking down Ocean Ave. I wanted to wear my new floral shorts and decided to let the print do the talking. I paired it with a black tank and added a denim jacket since it had gotten a bit cooler in the evening. I also had a bit of the chills since I had gotten sunburned earlier (yes, I was wearing sun block) so I wanted to be comfortable. I threw on my new caged sandals from Charlotte Russe which added some character to the outfit as well as my silver hoops. I mean it is Miami!
