Growing up, I used to always have to wear frilly and fluffy dresses for Easter. Ya know how Latina moms are-wearing pants was never an option.
Gracias ma.
Well, now I’m all grown up and I can wear what I want! *haha* This Easter I decided to share this classic black and white look wearing these wide-leg trousers and crop top. Don’t worry, it’s still dressy enough. It just has more of a modern twist to it.
The great thing about wearing black and white is that it’s super easy to put together AND it never goes out of style. If you’re ever in a rut then just remember this timeless color combo. I’m sure you’ll be able to find something right away.
Usually I wouldn’t pair wide-leg trousers with a wide-sleeve top because I feel like it makes me look ten times wider. It’s a crop top so it accentuates my waist which makes all the difference. Plus, I love the zipper detail on the back.
It is more of a modern chic look so I decided to add some trendy jewelry to it. This lace choker brings back all the memories! I mean, hello 90’s. I used to loveee wearing them when I was younger. I doubled up the choker with my favorite silver bar necklace for some more dimension. Throw on an ear cuff and you’re as trendy as can be *haha*. I’m obsessed with this one, but after awhile it starts to hurt so I need to find more comfortable ones. Let me know if you own any!
This is pretty much an untraditional Easter look, but I had to tie it in some way. I wore my favorite Kate Spade bag since it’s pastel pink. Pretty, right? I also added my T-strap silver sandals to keep the look very dainty and feminine.
What are you plans for Easter this weekend? Any fun traditions?
