Have you ever had that moment when you’re going out and you look in your closet and say “I have nothing to wear!”? Yeah. Been there, done that.
I go through it all of the time, but I know that I can find something. It just takes a little bit more patience and thought. Once you start mixing and matching you will see how fun it can be and it’s a great way to save money.
For my “holiday party” look, I paired my faux leather skirt with this lace leotard from Kate Young’s collection with Target. Lace and leather is one of my favorite combinations. I love the texture against one another and it makes me feel chic and sexy! I kept my accessories simple, but I made sure they were bold enough to compliment my look. The blush platform pumps are great because they makes my legs seem longer (every short girl’s dream!).

For my “date night” look, I paired the skirt with a leopard top. This top is super comfortable and the leopard print stands out great against the black. I added my favorite cut out booties (also very comfortable) for some edge. I created a twist and pulled it to the side for a more delicate look to compliment soft waves and my pink lipstick. For my “girl’s night out” look, I paired my faux leather skirt with this “New York” print tee, which has black lace for the back. The bold lip adds an edge and is softened up with a messy bun. The bib necklace also mixes with the textures of the outfit, which I love doing.
Tip: Add some black opaque tights for a chilly night
