The confusing thing about fall is trying to figure out when and how to layer. Some days are 80 degrees and then the temperature drops to the 50’s. It’s a game I really don’t like to play, BUT I do appreciate the extra warm days. We have to take what we can get. I wanted to share this outfit with you because it was a beautiful fall day (in the 70’s) and I loved how this look came out.
Most days, if not all, I dressed based on my mood. Some days I want to be edgy, other days I want to be glam and then somewhere in between I like being girly. That’s the fun part about getting dressed and why I love styling different looks. Today was an edgy chic type of day. I’ve been obsessed with graphic t-shirts and found this gem at Wal-Mart in the men’s section for $8! Talk about a bargain. Instead of rocking ripped denim (because it was warm af) I decided to pair it with an asymmetrical skirt from Forever 21. I wish they still had it but it’s like 4 or 5 years old.
To give it more of a chic/rocker look I decided to dress it up with some cut-out ankle booties and of course-a faux leather jacket. You already know. The most exciting part? The accessories!! I’ve been OBSESSED with chokers for awhile so these were the perfect touch. It’s actually 2 different chokers but I love the layering effect that it gives. Plus, it looks way more edgy. And to top it off these DesixQuay sunnies are EVERYTHING. I was so happy when I was able to get my hands on them. They definitely complete the look.
I’ve also been wearing them everyday. No shame in my game.
