It’s a new day, new week and guess what?! I’m back!
It’s been quite awhile since I’ve sat down to write-not because the desire hasn’t been there, but because of some life adjustments. I feel like I’ve grown a lot within the past six months and have been dealing with some things that have led me to take a step back and reflect. I definitely want to share more on some life lessons that I’ve been facing lately, but for now I just want to bask in this beautiful moment in Mexico. Can I just go back?
On Memorial Day, Garry and I jumped on a flight and headed to Cancun, Mexico for a post birthday/anniversary celebration. We stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancun from Monday to Saturday and I must say it’s been the best vacation thus far. But what good is a vacation without the swimsuits, right? I’m sharing what I wore to the pool the first day when we landed in Mexico.
It was our first vacation outside of the U.S. together!
The resort was absolutley beautiful and the customer service was exceptional. If you know me then you know I’m a stickler for those types of experiences. You can thank Apple for that. The staff was extremely nice and very attentive to our wants and needs. They definitely set the bar for our next trip. We actually loved it so much we can’t wait to go back.
I’ll be sharing some photos this week from my trip because they were too good to pass up. So to kick it off I wanted to share one of my favorite swimsuits that I wore. I mean, what else do you wear in Mexico?! This two-piece is actually not a set but I got them as separates from Forever 21. It was actually a very last minute buy and I loved how the top popped with the nude high-waisted bottoms.
This look was giving me all types of chic vibes-especially when I threw over this kimono and added these statement earrings. I’m having a moment with these just FYI. The only thing I wish for was that the top had better support. It’s a bit tricky when you wear a size D and try to wear non-wired tops. But hey, you get what you pay for. *Kanye shrug*
The travel bug is so real. We’re already looking at some places for a next trip. Let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations! I’d love to hear some of your favorite places.
